I was on the second floor of Grady College during my TR 2:20PM NMIX 4110 class. Cyberduck informed me of a new version, so I decided to update the application. I reopened and the new icon was staring into my soul. Immediately, I texted fellow classmate, Katie Tucker, about my predicament, which can be seen here in a screenshot she took.
I sent this at precisely 3:06PM EST.
Now, all I see when I go to sleep at night are the eyes of the Cyberduck icon staring back at me. Making this hate page has only made matters worse; I am sacrificing my sanity and peace to spread awareness of this horrible icon.
In my opinion, I believe Cyberduck should revert back to only using the original icon. It evokes a sense of comfort and friendliness that otherwise goes out the window with the new icon. How would you feel if you were working diligently on updating your servers, just to see this monstrosity staring back at you, waiting on you to make a mistake?
