I do not like the new Cyberduck icon. I recently updated the application on my laptop and instantly regretted it.
If you are seeking to update to Cyberduck 7.8.2 for macOS 11 Big Sur, don't you have been warned.
Look at this demon.
Do you see how terrifying it is? Just look into its eyes for a few minutes and you will understand my pain. I was traumatized the second I reopened Cyberduck after it updated, and that horror continues to motivate me to run this hate page.
The strange thing is that when I close Cyberduck, it remains in my dock with the old icon. However, I am definitely not complaining.

Look how much nicer this icon is. It just looks like a nice, friendly rubber duck. Unfortunately, not many people agree with me that the new icon is scary. After casually stalking Twitter my extensive research, I found that many users find the new icon adorable...

I genuinely do not understand why anyone would find this new icon to be cute. It reminds me of the animatronics at Chuck E. Cheese. Or the characters in Five Nights at Freddy's. Regardless, since this new icon only appears while Cyberduck is running, I will only be having the application open whenever necessary: updating my server and this hate page. For the sake of your sanity, I suggest you do the same.
